North Georgia Winery Tour Weekend

Mark you calendar.  It's that time again. The 6th annual "Wine Highway Weekend" is scheduled for Friday, March 18, 2011 - Sunday, March 20, 2011, so start planning your North Georgia spring weekend getaway now!


Last year’s event was a great success and this year’s tour looks to be even better!

This is a perfect time to get back in the swing of spring activities and there is no better way to shake the winter doldrums than spending a weekend in the mountains and tasting the Award Winning wines that are made from Georgia Grown Grapes.

This event is 2 full days and includes nine wineries from Young Harris to Dahlonega making Blue Ridge GA a great central location to serve as a base for this event.

Just pick up a copy of the "Taste a Perfect Day" brochure from the Fannin County Chamber, choose which winery you want to visit first, pay a one time fee and make a weekend out of it.
